A highly visible instrument for showing the random nature of alpha radiation. Produces very bright sparks when alpha particles are ionised on the circular wire grid. Comes complete with sliding holder for the radiation source and an accurate scale to measure the effects of distance between the source and the grid. Recommended for use with our 5kV Power Supply (EL10370) and Scaler Timer and Frequency Meter (EL10439).
