A self-assembly kit providing an ideal introduction to how solar energy works. The kit includes a full set of 26 snap-together parts, plus solar panel, micro-motor and gears. A diagonal cutter is recommended but no gluing, screwing or other tools required. The models require bright sunlight or a halogen or incandescent light source (they will not operate in cloudy, shaded locations, or fluorescent light). A comprehensive instruction manual provides clear step by step instructions for building each model. Suitable for ages 10+.
